The above named puppy is purebred. The pedigree is correct and given at the time of sale and this dog will be registered with the Canadian Kennel Club and the registration papers, Transferred into the purchaser's name (s), Will be provided by the breeder at the earliest possible time. The health of the dog is excellent to the best of our knowledge and believe at the time of sale. This Puppy has had the appropriate inoculations. If this puppy is being shipped into the United States it is accompanied by a health Certificate signed by a licensed veterinarian.

TEMPERAMENT: Should the buyer question the the temperament of this puppy, owner must notify the breeder within 48 hours of receiving the puppy. If necessary, the pup may be returned to the breeder at the buyer's expanse for evaluation. Unless breeder deems the temperament problem to be the result of improper handling, lack of socialization and training, teasing or other abuse, by the purchaser, family members, or his agent, we will replace the dog with one of equal value, or refund the purchase price in full at our discretion.

HIP GUARANTEE: (pet quality) If at any time from the date of purchase to the dog's second birthday, if this dog develops clinical signs of hip dysplasia (i.e. lameness), attest to by x-ray and evaluation by a competent Veterinarian, due to congenital defects rather than neglect or injury at the hands of the purchaser or their agent, the dog may be returned to us at the expence of the buyer, with appropriate documentation. We will at our discretion, either refund the full purchase price, or replace the dog as soon as a suitable replacement becomes available.

Hip Guarantee (Show/Breeding Quality) if the buyer has undertaken to show the dog in a serious manner, attending a minimum of four shows a year, prior to the puppy reaching the age of 24 months, and the buyer has the
dog's hips x-rayed between 24 and 30 months by a veterinarian and the x-rays sent to OFA number for reason other than Quality of the x-ray' the breeder agrees to either:
Replace the dog with a pup of similar or better quality from the breeders own breeding program within 12 months of the dog's return to the breeder, in which case the status of the hips of the replacement, since it has not been proven that hip dysplasia is strictly hereditary and environment plays a part, or
Refund the difference between pet price and the price paid for the pup, should the buyer wish to keep the dog as a companion price difference noted at time of sale.
Resale: Should the buyer at anytime be unable to keep the dog in Question, the title will not be transferred to any person or organization other than the breeder/importer, whether by sale, gift, loan or otherwise, except in the following manner:
The Breeder and buyer have agreed to sell this mastiff under the following conditions:
The dog will be first offered to the breeder/importer by the buyer under the same terms and conditions as to the third party (which will not exceed the original purchase price as noted above) or
Decide on the basis of condition, conformation and temperament, to neuter the dog and place him/her in a pet home, in which case no monies will be refunded, or
Resell the dog to a suitable home, in which case all expenses incurred will be deducted from the selling price and the difference refunded to the original owner. If the seller does not want the dog for her own program then the buyer and the breeder/importer will enter into written agreement whereby the dog/bitch will become a gift to the breeder/importer and the breeder/importer will in turn will enter into a written agreement with the third party, similar to this one, except that the purchase price will be that agreed upon between the buyer and the third party. All proceeds from the transfer to the third party, less incurred expenses of transfer, will be given to the buyer by the breeder/importer. Further the buyer agrees that this dog/bitch will never be sold or given to any retail or wholesale place where dogs are sold or resold to the public, or to any research institution where experimental practices take place. Lastly, if no new home can be found for the dog/bitch, the buyer has the right to deliver the dog to the seller, accompanied by its appropriate registration papers, with signed transfers, and the seller will resume all responsibility for the dog.

 

Breeding: (Show Potential Male) The puppy is sold with the stipulation that the breeder shall retain the right to breed one female ( owned or leased by them ) per year to the animal, with stud fees for these breedings considered part of this sale. This is not to exceed the number of four (4) breedings in all, and all bitches must be of breeding quality, agreed upon by all parties involved.

 

(Show potential female) The puppy is sold with the stipulation that the breeders shall not bred until her third heat, or her 24th month of age, whichever comes first. The buyer's bitch will not be breed more than once a year, unless conditions are as such that the mastiff club of America code of ethics allowances apply, i.e.: single puppy litter, treatment for pyometra, etc.

(Pet Quality Male Female): Buyer will agree to have there pet neutered or sterilized and should be done at the age before 10 months unless the buyer feels that the pet quality mastiff is of show/breeding quality then the buyer must consult the breeder and enter into written contract. The buyer agrees that if used in any breeding program, the dog/bitch will be used to the best serve to protect and preserve the best qualities of the breed, it is not to be used on dogs/bitches who carry disabling or disqualifying faults, and the buyer agrees that any puppies produced by the dog/bitch will not be sold, placed or given to any pet store or any retail or wholesale place where dogs are sold or resold to the public, nor to any research institution where experimental practices take place. The buyer agrees to treat this dog as a household pet, and to give it proper love and attention at all times. The buyer further agrees that this dog will never, at anytime, be chained outside, or tied to a stake outside, or be trained as a professional guard/attack training and to do so would be disastrous to the animal. This dog will not be raised on a slippery surface, or be allowed to bound up and down stairs, or be allowed to jump in or out of vehicles as these activities can cause dislocated elbows, shoulders, knees, hips, etc. The buyer also agrees that the dog's weight will be under strict supervision until the age of two years, and understand that it would be far better for this dog to be slightly under weight since being over weight will stress his/her structure during critical growing periods. The buyer further agrees that the dog will not be given nothing that would encourage rapid growth. The breeder and buyer have agreed to sell this Mastiff under the following conditions.

 

Violation of this contract shall entitle the breeder to right and option, and the buyer fully agrees to repossess this dog at any time. It is understood that these conditions are set forth for the welfare and protection of the dog, the mastiff breed, as well as the two parties involved, buyer and breeder/Importer.
